Important Reminders

THERE IS NO SMOKING AND NO PETS PERMITTED ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

There will be a $300 charge if there is a sign of smoking or having a pet.

**Please read directions, as GPS will not get you to exact location.

Directions: You should get to Hawthorn Road itself using GPS, just fine.

After turning Left onto HAWTHORN ROAD
Continue Straight on pavement for 0.5 miles- Point of View Drive, DO NOT TAKE a left (gravel) on Hawthorn.
Continue straight up Point of View drive until you CROSS THE 1ST SPEED BUMP.
Turn LEFT onto the gravel road AND GO THROUGH GATE (next to the barn with fence and 2 mailboxes, sheep, chickens)
IF, you cross the 2nd speed bump and reach HILLS OF CATALOOCHEE sign, you have gone too far!
The road will y after you pass the barn, STAY LEFT.
Please Park in the designated area for your suite to assure people can pass beside you to get to the other cabins.
Please do not park in the grass.

Cardinal Suite
1. Continue straight, your cabin will be the one coming up on your right.
2. Please park in the lower driveway, as this is the easiest entrance for the Lower Level Cardinal Suite.
3. To enter the Cardinal Suite - (Lower Level), walk onto the porch and use the main door with the lockbox.
Blue Bird Suite
1. Your cabin will be the first on the right, please park close to the cabin of the top level of the house.
2. Leaving enough room for other traffic to get by.
3. To enter the Blue Bird Suite (Upper Level), step up onto the porch and use the main Blu blue for with lockbox.
The Lodge
1. Your cabin will be the first on the left.
2. Please park beside and in front of the garage, allowing cars to pass behind you.
3. To enter the Lodge, step up onto the main porch and enter with keypad through the double doors.
The Bethel House
1. Your cabin will be the last cabin.
2. Continue pass a cabin on your right and on your left.
3. The driveway gently slopes down and around the left. Park on either level.
4. Step up onto the porch use the keypad on the door of the main level.

Additional Information:

There will be clean towels and linens in the unit for your stay.

The kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking needs including a drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc.

The pots, pans and other cooking utensils must be washed and put away prior to your departure.

All garbage must be removed from the unit at the end of your vacation. Garbage must be taken to the dumpster located on the refrigerator.

We stock the unit with 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, a roll of paper towels, couple of trash bags, dish soup, hand soap and some cleaning supplies to start your vacation. You will need to buy more for your stay once these are used.

Check-Out Instructions:

Remove all trash from cabin and dispose trash in dumpster on property - see dumpster location 5082 Jonathan Creek Road, Waynesville, NC 28785 (We have wild animals, please don't invite them) Unfortunately, we charge a $50 fee if this is not done.
Set thermostats/heaters to 61 degrees (fall/winter months).
Leave the cabin in a similar state to how you found it—tidy up, but no deep cleaning.
Leave slept-in beds unmade (don’t worry about stripping them).
Empty the refrigerator of perishable or expired items. You may leave frozen items, newly purchased condiments or factory-sealed foods for future guests. (Use your discretion.)
Wash, dry and put dishes away.
Check for any personal items (Did you check closet, bathroom, shower, and under beds?)
Clean BBQ if used.
